Stacy E. Walker PhD, ATC, FNATA
Stacy E. Walker PhD, ATC, FNATA is a Professor of Athletic Training at Ball State University. She has over 50 peer reviewed journal articles, more than 70 professional presentations. She co-facilitates a workshop on how to use Standardized Patients and Simulations in athletic training and has attended the T3 Train-the-Trainer Interprofessional Faculty Development program. Her research agenda focuses on the use of standardized patients to provide additional clinical education experiences for athletic training students and the transition to practice of newly credentialed athletic trainers. She is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Athletic Training and the Athletic Training Education Journal and is a member of the NATA Research and Education Foundation Research Committee, the Board of Certifications Maintenance of Certification Task Force the Association of Standardized Patient Educators Grants and Research Committee.
