James Madison University – Football

James Madison University – Football Sports Medicine – is looking for student athletic trainers that would like to come work as a collaborative team. Currently we have JMU entry level masters students, as well as the occasional Quinnipiac, Western Carolina, and Bridgewater College student. We love having a diversity of students working together and making connections outside their program.

We offer spring and fall emersions. Our staff of 3 athletic trainers ensures that each student athletic trainer gets a great education opportunity. Our students will get the opportunity to eval injuries, rehab long term injuries, work 1 on 1 with rehab, help with inventory, packing, setting up, games, etc. They will also get the opportunity to observe surgeries, PRP injections, etc.

We try very hard to make sure the students get a well rounded experience. We would love to partner with other universities and help grow our future professionals.
