University of Arkansas- Football

The University of Arkansas Football athletic training staff is looking to take on 1-2 immersive students from a certified AT program. These immersive students will get a range of responsibilities and experiences including, but not limited to: student athlete injury evaluations, rehab prescription, team travel prep (in season), gameday responsibilities, general medical care, surgery observations (extra paperwork required), practice coverage, return-to-play testing, documentation, and concussion management. We are looking for students that are not afraid to jump in and get their hands dirty, we would like to use this opportunity to prepare the student for the full time roles and responsibilities of a certified athletic trainer and give them confidence that they can handle their job.
